Day 1

Arrival in Antananarivo

Day 2

Domestic flight to Diego Suarez or Antsiranana

On the first day of your trip to Northern Madagascar you land at the airport of Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar. You will be met by a driver. Today you have some time to get used to the country.

With a domestic flight of about 2 hours (that's how big the country is!), you fly to the northern tip on the eastern side. You can clearly see from the architecture in this city that it was an old French colony. It is a nice town to walk through. Take some time to acclimatize before starting your adventurous journey.

Day 3

Visit the 3 bays

Today you will discover the natural beauty of the region by visiting the three bays:

Sakalava Bay , Dunes Bay and Pigeon Bay.

Walk at your own pace along three beautiful bays and take a refreshing dip.

Day 4

Visit Mer d'Emeraude

Get on a boat today and sail over the 'Emerald' colored water, as the name suggests. You sail to a mini island where you get freshly grilled fish for lunch and snorkel and swim in this crystal clear water.

You can drive to Montagne d'Ambre in about 2 hours. You can take a stroll through Diego in the morning, or relax in the afternoon with the sights and sounds of a rainforest.

Day 6

Today you will take a walk through the habitat of many animal species. Different types of lemurs live here, as well as different reptiles. The smallest chameleon in the world lives here, only one centimeter in size! You cannot see this yourself, but luckily the guide can!

Day 7

To Ankaranana

A long ride ahead, but a beautiful one! You will make a stopover at the Tsingy Rouge. Pointed rocks in warm red-brown tones like you won't see anywhere else. You travel on to Ankaranana, where tomorrow you will also see pointed rocks, but large and gray!

Day 8

Visit Ankaranana National Park

Today you will be amazed by the Ankaranana National Park. You walk through a piece of rainforest to a view of all point-shaped rocks. This is so unforgettable, you are so small and the planet has so many surprises!

Day 9

To Nosy Sakatia

Make a stop at a cocoa plantation. Here you can see how vanilla, coffee and cocoa grow on a small scale. Pay close attention, there may be beautiful chameleons hiding here and there.

Then you take the boat from the mainland to Nosy Sakatia. You will stay here for a few days, with your feet in the white sand. The sunset is unforgettable.

Nosy Sakatia

Day 11

Antananarivo

Two islands connected during low tide. Snow-white beach, bright blue sea. Guaranteed beautiful photos in a surprisingly beautiful environment.

After your days on the beach, it's time to return to the mainland. You can sail to Nosy Be by boat, and to the airport by car. There you take the domestic flight to Antananarivo, where you have another day to explore this vibrant city .

This is the capital of Madagascar and a true cultural melting pot. Here you will find old palaces, churches and museums that bear witness to the French and Malagasy influences. The area is beautiful with beautiful hills and beautiful views. Don't forget to eat delicious food and walk around the bustling city center!

Day 14

Today you will be taken to Ivato, the airport in Antananarivo. After a wonderful trip, it's time to share your stories and adventures at home with everyone.
